Your Breast Lift Options
A plastic surgeon can perform a breast lift procedure using several different incision techniques. Dr. Lowe can decide which of these three options is best for you after assessing your skin elasticity, the size and position of your areolas, and the current shape and position of your breasts.
Named for its simple circular shape, the incision in a donut lift is placed around the areola. It results in minimal scarring and is usually recommended for cases of mild sagging.
The incision in a lollipop lift is made around the areola and vertically down to the breast crease. We recommend this lift if you want to both raise and reshape your breast tissue.
In an anchor lift, the incision is made around the areola, vertically down to the breast crease, and then horizontally along the crease. Because it is the most extensive, this lift is usually used to address significant sagging.
